Responsibilities
  • Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing business support for VP-Finance and Field organization. This position will assist in Regional Company budgeting and forecasting, pricing analysis, customer and segment profitability, same-store sales, sales by major product group, margin analysis, operating cost analysis, capital expenditures, acquisition analysis and due diligence, inventory management, cylinder/asset management, certain compliance related activities and other ad hoc analyses.
  • Adhere to company policies including safety.
  • Utilize various business reports and metrics, collaborate with regional leadership to evaluate, interpret, and provide critical information (e.g., same-store sales, gross margins, operating expenses, asset utilization, capital expenditures) to support operational decisions.
  • Analyze product price increase processes and support pricing initiatives for sales and marketing related to customer price realization.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Work with the VP-Finance and division finance support teams to understand historical results, trends and validate forecast assumptions.
  • Perform complex financial modeling and undertake advanced projects in support of the region and division FP&A.
  • Ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures at the local level, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in acquisition due diligence and integration.
  • Assist with field audit activities regarding internal controls and SOP compliance as needed.
  • All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work request within qualifications and description.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
  • At least seven years' experience in financial accounting/analysis in positions of increasing responsibility.
  • SAP or similar software system experience, and intermediate skills operating a computer in a Microsoft and/or Google based environment.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills and an in-depth understanding and application of financial statements and investment decision finance concepts (e.g., Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return).
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA and/or CPA.
  • Experience managing complex financial projects under tight timelines.
