Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the “Best Places to Work” in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Credit Administrator to join our Credit Risk Management division in our Rancho Cordova, CA or Novato, CA office.
This position manages the safe growth of the Bank’s Commercial Real Estate loan portfolio. In a team-oriented environment, maintain a high degree of customer service while also maintaining the integrity of the credit management process by ensuring credit presentations are accurate and thorough, risk grades are accurate and timely, and loan structures are appropriate to manage risk. Support ongoing improvement in the credit process by recommending and implementing policy and procedure modifications as necessary, to meet market and regulatory changes.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong understanding of documentation of complex commercial real estate credits, including notes, loan agreements, security agreements and title documents.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to quickly understand and communicate concepts both verbally and in written form.
- Team contributor as evidenced by positive attitude towards assisting others with job responsibilities as needed and treatment of co-workers in a positive and respectful manner.
- Excellent accounting knowledge (college coursework or equivalent work experience) as applied to credit underwriting.
Professional / Educational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and minimum 7- 10 year’s relevant banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The hiring pay range for this position is $177,318 to $270,643. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
