Data Analyst, IT Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional Consultant with over 5 years of experience in Blue Yonder – Enterprise Supply Planning (BY-ESP). The consultant will play a key role in supporting, customizing, and enhancing BY-ESP functionality, working closely with business users to translate supply chain requirements into technical solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a BY-ESP techno-functional consultant to support supply chain initiatives.
- Engage with business users to capture and analyze requirements.
- Create functional and technical specification documents.
- Build and execute comprehensive test plans (Unit, Integration, UAT, Regression).
- Analyze existing system customizations to identify opportunities for optimization and simplification.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues focusing on root cause analysis and effective user communication.
- Implement custom developments and manage complete testing and deployment lifecycle.
- Conduct unit testing, system testing, and end-user testing; ensure business sign-off and successful production deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder – Enterprise Supply Planning (BY-ESP)
- Experience in at least one BY-ESP implementation
- Strong PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting skills
- Experience with custom developments in a BY-ESP ecosystem
- Proficient in creating functional and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of SAP ERP system integration
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes
- Effective in working with cross-functional teams including technical analysts, developers, DBAs, middleware teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors
Skills:
- Optimization and simplification of existing BY-ESP configurations
- Issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
Not mandatory, but Blue Yonder certifications are a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
