IT Project Manager
Job Description
The Manager, Digital Workplace Engineering, combines ownership and leadership of multiple platforms to deliver outstanding outcomes and user experiences across specific tools and technologies. This experienced leader will oversee end‑user computing engineering, including management and maintenance of physical desktops, virtual desktops, and virtual applications such as Microsoft Intune, Windows 11 endpoints, Citrix Workspace, Windows 365 Cloud PCs, Azure VDI, and governance of platforms that enable business processes, automations, and artificial intelligence (Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Moveworks, Atlassian, Ivanti Service Manager).
The person selected for this role will both manage the current state of technologies and envision a future where applications serve outcomes, the endpoint is the gateway to the digital workplace, AI opens data and knowledge, and bots, automations and process flows drive operational effectiveness.
The Manager inspires future vision, leads change, engages senior leaders, guides stakeholders, and creates a digital transformation strategy that enhances employee experience, improves business processes, and increases operational efficiency. The manager provides training, consultation, and a user‑centric focus in all technology initiatives.

- Explore and implement innovative strategies and technologies to build a future‑ready digital workplace.
- Manage and maintain platforms with a focus on operational excellence, uptime, and user experience.
- Develop short‑term and long‑term plans to deliver technologies that enhance productivity, optimize user experience, and meet business needs.
- Champion a user‑centric approach in all initiatives.
- Shift focus from tool‑centric to outcome‑centric strategies, measuring success by business impact and user satisfaction.
- Participate actively in recruitment, evaluation, development, promotion, and performance improvement of the team.
- Define team scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and monthly status reports.
- Conduct team meetings, track progress, and analyze outcomes.
- Plan, direct, monitor, and participate in development activities for projects; ensure quality of deliverables.
- Create annual maintenance and project budgets, communicating technology updates to the executive team.
- Manage relationships with service and support vendors, setting and communicating expectations.
- Resolve complex problems involving multiple teams, systems, or functions, implementing solutions.
- Maintain proactive relationships with other IT managers and supported business units.
- 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree; 1+ years of supervisory/management experience.
- Deep understanding of digital workplace collaboration technologies, including Microsoft 365, Atlassian, end‑user computing, and telecommunications.
- Proven track record of successful transformation initiatives involving people, processes, and technology.
- Self‑driven, passionate leader with experience delivering full lifecycle technology projects, including cloud platforms and architectures.
- Proficient in ITIL and continual service improvement.
- Experience managing and maintaining enterprise‑grade technology and service delivery platforms.

- Preferred: 7 years of experience managing highly technical teams.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience implementing Service Level Agreements with metrics.
- Experience with infrastructure services and application systems.
- Knowledge in preparing business, IT, technology roadmaps, and technical project proposals.
