The Hardware Technology Support Floater is a hands-on, field-based IT role supporting over 1,000 staff across seven regional offices in San Diego County and Imperial Valley as the organization evolves from a Citrix virtual desktop environment to a modern, laptop-centric model. The role requires a technician who can bridge both worlds, resolve current Citrix issues and evolve to support the future state through Windows laptop deployment, Client Intune endpoint management, and full M365 adoption.
As the transition progresses, this role will naturally shift from legacy desktop support toward full modern endpoint management, making it an ideal opportunity for a technician ready to grow with technology transformation.
