Project Estimator

Prepare project proposals by analyzing scope of work, measure sheets and purchasing agreements.

• Review Scope of Work to determine material and labor requirements of a project
• Ensure completion of proposals in a timely manner
• Communicate with management and team members regarding new and complex projects
• Ensure proper costs of materials and labor
• Manage RFP’s of specific area of responsibility
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Maintain proper project margin

• High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred, and two years of related experience
• Read and interpret documents such as measure sheets and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Email.
