You’ll provide guidance and coordination of QC inspection activities ensuring that fabricated products and processes meet established quality standards and specifications. Inspection and Testing:
Inspect and release raw materials, in-process items, and finished products using visual and nondestructive testing (MT, UT, PT).

Compliance Verification:
They ensure adherence contract documents (Welding Codes, Contract Standard Specifications, and Standards)

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of inspections, prepare reports highlighting qualified and unqualified items (Daily Reports, NCRs)

Process Monitoring:
Monitor fabrication processes to identify potential quality issues early, calibrate equipment, and verify that procedures are followed correctly.

Collaboration:

Work closely with owners, production teams, engineers, and management to implement quality improvements and maintain compliance.

• Certification Based
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (preferred)
• Must write clear/concise daily reports
• Ability to travel 100% of the time
• Must be able to work at heights
• Additional certifications a plus: NACE, ICC, AMPP, PCI
