Position Overview
Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician – Onsite (5 days per week, RANCHO CORDOVA office)
We seek a skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance, installation, and repair tasks across commercial properties in the Corporate Real Estate & Facilities department. Your expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems will ensure that all building systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with local codes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities- Support overall operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure (electrical, fire suppression, HVAC, UPS, generators) supporting two data centers and other critical spaces.
- Provide coverage of BMS alerts and notifications for critical infrastructure systems.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of fire suppression systems and electrical power systems.
- Finish carpentry, painting, flooring, and door repairs.
- Modular furniture systems installation.
- Ensure vendor performance meets contractual and quality requirements.
- Build relationships and partnerships with facilities operations and maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, inspections, and permits.
- Accurately log completed work and materials used.
- Follow all safety policies and champion a safety‑first mindset.
- Be available for occasional weekend projects and on‑call emergencies.
- 6‑8+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
- Knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical circuits, and plumbing principles.
- EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerants or Journeyman license highly valued.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Participation in on‑call rotation.
- Competitive base compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (or $30.77 – $35.90 hourly) plus discretionary bonus.
