Senior Test Lead

The Senior Test Lead in this role is responsible for overseeing the testing activities for software development projects, with a focus on utilizing selenium and Java technologies. The primary objective is to ensure the quality and efficiency of the software testing process.

• Lead and manage the overall testing process, including test planning, test case design, and test execution using selenium and java.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and strategies.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using selenium and java.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issue resolution throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on selenium and java testing best practices.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the organization.

• Proficiency in selenium for test automation and java programming for test script development.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with test planning, test case design, and test execution within agile development environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug testing scripts and frameworks written in selenium and java.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues efficiently.

Certifications:

ISTQB Certification in Software Testing is preferred but not mandatory.
