Tax Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time On-Site Experienced Income Tax Staff Accountant to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for helping business owners understand their financials. You'll work directly with the principal advisor, senior and staff accountants to manage books, prepare financial statements & tax work papers, and provide key insights that drive better business decisions.

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple small-business clients (cash & accrual basis)
• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Oversee month-end and year-end closes
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Coordinate with tax preparers and auditors as needed
• Review business and personal tax returns (Must have experience with Form 1120, 1065, & 1040)
• Communicate directly with clients to explain financial reports and recommendations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of public accounting experience or client-service setting
• Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop/Online, Excel/Google Sheets, and modern accounting tools
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA or EA certification a plus (not required)
• Live within 20 minutes of Rancho Cucamonga, CA
• Not interested in offshore or staffing agencies
