Salary Range: $70,500 to $75K
SummaryThe Junior Contract Administrator reviews and evaluates proposals, works with the Senior Contract Administrator on negotiating subcontract provisions, and administers resulting government/commercial/international/turnkey subcontracts. Coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts in accordance with company policy, legal requirements, completes customers’ contractual documents to be approved by the Senior Contracts’ Administrator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct reviews, analyze solicitation requirements, coordinate and develop proposal responses
- Review and recommend contractual terms and conditions; identify issues and develop solutions; advise management of contractual rights and obligations
- Evaluate compliance with contracts, governmental law, FAR, DFAR, ITAR and company policies
- Risk analysis and mitigation by negotiating terms to minimize risk and maximize profits
- Research, analyze, coordinate, develop, produce and maintain contract documentation (contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, modifications, tasks, cost/price analyses, etc.)
- Perform contract/subcontract administration and file audits during pre-award, award, and post-award phases
- Recommend subcontract policies and procedures
- Interact with multiple internal managers and external customers
- Interact with Sales and Accounting to establish new customers
- Perform dynamic screening on companies to ensure they are not on denied lists
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience working with the Federal Government – advantage
- Expert working knowledge of FAR, DFAR and ITAR
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Law Degree and/or CPCM a plus)
- 1-2 years of professional experience working with customers and reviewing customers’ documents
