• Valid Special Education teaching credential (CA or eligible for reciprocity)
• Prior experience teaching special education at the K-12 level
• Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs and goals
• Collect and analyze student progress data, reporting updates to the educational team and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and develop meaningful, actionable goals for each student
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to instructional aides and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Contribute to a nurturing, productive classroom climate that supports student achievement
