Position Summary:

The Civil / Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing above ground steel storage tanks for water, oil, and other liquid storage applications in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards. Projects will include tank structures, concrete foundations, platforms, walkways, stairways, baffle systems, and related components.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze above ground steel storage tanks and related structures
• Prepare engineering calculations and supporting documentation
• Research building code and jurisdictional requirements
• Interpret customer specifications, plans, and drawings
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, drafting teams, and customers
• Support projects through design, fabrication, and installation
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Participate in research and development initiatives

Key

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of structural engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design
• Experience with bulk storage silos and tank design highly preferred
• Experience with industrial structures and infrastructure preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
