Job Title:
Senior Financial Analyst
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical financial support to our manufacturing facility, acting as a key partner in budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis. You will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining internal controls, and providing insights that drive profitability and decision-making across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare monthly forecasts, weekly flash reports, and departmental budgets. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Reporting & Costing: Analyze manufacturing variances, monitor job costing (including raw materials and labor), and report on key performance metrics.
- Accounting Operations: Execute month-end close procedures, including preparing/posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
- Compliance & Audit: Lead internal control testing, ensure SOX compliance, and assist with internal and external facility audits.
- Communication: Act as a bridge between the finance department and other operational teams, providing clear financial insights to management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role. Experience in cost accounting is highly preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel). Experience with ERP/Enterprise software (such as Epicor, Oracle, or Hyperion) is a strong plus. - Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to synthesize complex data and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and requires U.S. person status.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
