Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative with hands-on experience troubleshooting products in an e-commerce environment. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support across multiple channels while diagnosing and resolving product-related issues efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping customers turn problems into positive experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, phone, and/or social platforms
  • Troubleshoot product issues by asking targeted questions and guiding customers through solutions
  • Diagnose defects, usage errors, or compatibility issues and recommend appropriate resolutions
  • Process returns, exchanges, replacements, and refunds according to company policies
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions in CRM and ticketing systems
  • Escalate complex technical or recurring issues to internal teams when needed
  • Collaborate with product, warehouse, and fulfillment teams to resolve order or product issues
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product features, updates, and common issues
  • Identify trends in customer feedback and share insights to improve products and processes
  • Provide clear, professional, and empathetic communication at all times
Qualifications
  • 1-3+ years of customer service experience in an e-commerce or product-based environment
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting physical or technical products
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Comfortable working with CRM, help desk, or ticketing software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting response-time goals
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting consumer electronics, appliances, tools, or other technical products
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Zendesk, Shopify, Gorgias, or similar tools
  • Experience supporting customers in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
