Systems Engineer
This position is a new role created in response to company growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Systems Engineer, be a well‑rounded “master of some,” and demonstrate technical depth. They will be comfortable communicating with vendors, solving problems, and delivering service-oriented collaborative support. The role requires onsite presence 5 days a week with on‑call duties for network issues.
Remote or help‑desk backgrounds are not appropriate. The candidate must reside within 40 miles of the office in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
- 90% on‑premise infrastructure
- Strong preference to keep data on‑premise
- Cloud usage limited to third‑party SaaS
- Security‑first organization
- Windows Server (standardized)
- Active Directory (deep knowledge required)
- Microsoft Exchange on‑premise
- Networking (routing & switching)
- SQL/DBMS experience (SQL, MySQL, Oracle – expert level not required)
- Some Linux/Unix exposure (nice to have)
- Transition from Cisco routers and Check Point firewalls to SD‑WAN
- Check Point experience is a major plus
- Ongoing infrastructure upgrades (continuous)
- Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server
- Network routing and switching
- SQL, MySQL
- CompTIA A+, CCNA
- Linux/Unix fundamentals
- Checkpoint firewall, Checkpoint certification

- Technically deep

Experienced Level

Pay and BenefitsPay range: $48.00 – $62.00 per hour.
