Salary: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment. Diagnose and resolve issues, perform system upgrades, patches, and updates. Support system installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software applications, and peripherals. Assist with IT security administration and maintenance, provide user support for software applications, and maintain IT inventory.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Familiarity with system installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
- Proficiency diagnosing and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Experience performing system upgrades, patches, and updates.
- Basic knowledge of IT security best practices and ability to assist with security system administration.
- Ability to provide user support for accessing and utilizing various software applications and tools.
- Knowledgeable about IT inventory management and maintaining organized hardware and software inventory.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
- Previous experience in a technical support role or similar IT position.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with individuals at various levels within the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve IT-related issues efficiently.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in work tasks.
- Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Works well independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Customer‑focused mindset and commitment to delivering high‑quality IT support and solutions.
- Primarily a desk‑based position that may require occasional travel to manufacturing facilities.
- May require working off‑hours as needed.
- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and handling objects for extended periods.
- Exposure to high temperatures and dusty or dirty environments.
