Overview
Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for providing overall on-site leadership including supervision, scheduling, financial management, subcontractor relations, and other related activities.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
- Coordinates and supervises all construction activities
- Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
- Maintains construction schedule, and identifies and solves problems
- Ensures contractor places material orders and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and other team members
- Reviews prepared schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately
- Ensures all company team members and contractors are adhering to the company safety policies
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work varied day and evening time frames required and ability to daily travel within the greater Los Angeles area
- Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision and Subcontractor management
- Experienced in managing multiple projects
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Study concentration in construction management
- Experience with LAUSD

Pay Range
$90,000 - $130,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
