Grinder II

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Grinder II to join their team. As a Grinder II, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** 1st shift: 4am-12:30pm, M-F

** What's the Job?*
* + Utilize large swing grinders and small hand grinders to condition parts for defect removal

+ Examine and feel surfaces of work pieces for defects and irregularities

+ Remove defects, sharp edges, and excess weld material to prepare parts for finishing

+ Select appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, or disks based on specifications and material condition

+ Operate grinders to smooth surfaces, remove scratches, and produce polished, unmarred finishes

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum of 2+ years of related experience and/or training in grinding or finishing operations

+ Ability to operate and maintain grinding equipment safely and effectively

+ Strong attention to detail and quality standards

+ Knowledge of abrasives, metal surfaces, and defect identification

+ Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
