Searing Industries, an Inland Empire Manufacturing Company, is looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Tool & Die Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds used in production operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM equipment
• Construct, modify, and repair dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures to exact specifications
• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical schematics
• Measure and inspect components using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tooling and dies
• Ensure all tooling meets quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performance and efficiency
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in tool and die machining (or comparable experience)
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T
• Experience with CNC programming and setup preferred
• Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
