Assistant Quality Manager
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Salary: $ per year
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Support the Quality Manager in overseeing Quality Assurance and Inspection operations
- Supervise QA and Inspection personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of SPC/SQC programs
- Investigate customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions
- Monitor quality data, analyze trends, and prepare reports
- Support ISO 9001 compliance, internal audits, and certification audits
- Serve as a liaison with customers, suppliers, and regulatory organizations as needed
- Manage document control processes, including revisions, distribution, and record maintenance
- Coordinate customer compliance requests and quality documentation
- Support new product qualification and integration into manufacturing processes
- Maintain UL documentation and coordinate testing and audit activities
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and other quality-related projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-3 years of quality assurance or manufacturing experience required
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC) methods
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective actions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality-related software systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in laminate, coating, fabricating, or specialty materials manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of dispersion chemistry is a plus
