Located in the north foothills of Rancho Cucamonga, Pinwheel Pasta features a full-service restaurant, delivery, and curbside pick-up. Join the Pinwheel Pasta staff and work alongside our Executive Chef and culinary team to launch our beautiful new restaurant.
THE ROLE :Oak Quarry is seeking a talented Server / Cashier to join our Front of House department. Selected candidates will be responsible for supporting our General Manager and Executive Chef in executing our service operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES :The primary function is prompt, efficient service and professionalism. The wait staff’s first and foremost function is the service of food and beverage. The strength and sincerity of the image of the facility should reflect at all times through a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude.
- Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
- Describes specials of the day to the guests.
- Answers questions regarding any menu item.
- Offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
- Takes food and beverage orders for guests.
- Follows up with guest to ensure satisfaction.
- Replenishes items as needed.
- Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
- Maintain organized workstation and side work duties.
- Responsible for accountability of all checks and transactions.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
- Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food and delivery and general service techniques.
- Practice positive teamwork and communication with co-workers, management, and kitchen staff.
No prior experience or training
May be required : to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; to write simple correspondence; to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other associates of the organization.
Frequently stand and walk; talk and hear. Regularly uses hands to finger, feel or handle; taste or smell; reaches with hands or arms. Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 75 pounds.
Reliable and predictable attendance.
Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Required :
Active San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card.
