RoleThe Assistant Store Manager plays a critical leadership role in supporting the day-to-day operations of JAXXON’s retail store. Partnering closely with the Store Manager, this position helps drive sales performance, team development, and a premium in-store experience. The Assistant Store Manager serves as a key leader on the sales floor and helps ensure the store operates as a model for future JAXXON locations.
Leadership& Business Mindset
- Partner with the Store Manager to execute store strategy, sales initiatives, and operational priorities
- Support the development, training, and coaching of a high-performing retail team
- Foster team engagement through recognition, consistent feedback, and performance support
- Act as Manager on Duty and provide leadership coverage during store hours
- Deliver and model white-glove customer service aligned with JAXXON’s premium brand standards
- Address customer feedback and escalations in real time, ensuring outcomes that “make it right”
- Maintain strong product knowledge, including promotions, test merchandise, and marketing initiatives
- Uphold visual merchandising and store presentation standards, including floor sets and displays
- Champion JAXXON’s brand identity, culture, and elevated in-store experience
- Support store initiatives to achieve KPIs, sales goals, and conversion targets
- Assist with inventory management across receiving, processing, merchandising, and transfers
- Help monitor sell-through rates and maintain inventory accuracy
- Support scheduling, staffing coverage, and timekeeping accuracy
- Assist with loss prevention, pricing adjustments, and operational compliance
To ensure balanced coverage and meet operational needs, all full-time employees are required to maintain open availability, including weekends and peak business days.
The holiday season is a critical sales period, and availability is required from the week of Thanksgiving through the first week of January.
Qualifications & Skills- 2–4 years of retail leadership or key holder experience (Assistant Manager experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for premium retail
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while supporting broader business objectives
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move for the duration of a shift
- Ability to work flexible days and hours based on business needs
- Competitive hourly pay: $26–$30/hour
