SLB is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This position serves as the primary commercial contact for key accounts while providing market intelligence, supporting strategic sales initiatives, and expanding the company's presence.
We are looking for someone who combines strong business development skills with technical expertise in elastomer and molded product applications. The successful candidate will combine strong technical aptitude with a proactive sales approach, independently pursuing new business, navigating complex customer organizations, and building relationships at multiple levels. This role offers a dynamic environment where each opportunity requires customized solutions rather than transactional product sales.
Roles and Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned customer accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into active customers.
- Conduct customer visits and maintain regular engagement plans.
- Track opportunities, account activities, and customer data within C4C.
- Monitor competitor activity and market developments to support commercial strategy.
- Partner with internal teams to develop proposals and customer solutions.
- Recommend pricing adjustments based on market conditions and business objectives.
- Support collections activities and customer payment resolution when required.
- Participate in product launches, promotions, and cross-business-line initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry technologies, products, and market trends.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management.
- Sales experience within elastomer, rubber, or molded product manufacturing environments required.
- Strong understanding of elastomer engineering principles and related manufacturing processes.
- Proven success in prospecting, account mapping, and managing extended sales cycles.
- Experience with consultative selling methodologies.
- Strong CRM and pipeline management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and customer stakeholders.
- Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and driving results.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000 annually, based on experience.
