Electrician Foreman in Rancho Cucamonga

Job Description

This is a Working Foreman role, leading journeymen and apprentices while ensuring all work meets NEC standards, productivity goals, and project deadlines. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician with a California Journeyman Electrician license and experience in commercial electrical construction. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and travel assignments.

• Supervise the commercial production of electrical journeyman and apprentices.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics or plans and layout work for journeyman and apprentices.
• Perform tool‑box talks and training to electrical apprentices and/or journeyman.
• Install commercial electrical equipment and fixtures.
• Install various types of conduit, raceway and cable tray systems.
• Experience with refrigeration motor control, Ansul Systems and EMS is desired.
• Knowledge of retail new construction and/or retail tenant improvement projects is desired.
• Troubleshoot motor control systems.
• May be asked to work in confined spaces.
• Perform work from ladders, man lifts and/or during inclement weather.
• Communicate with project managers and safety teams regarding jobsite progress.
• Demonstrate and enforce quality electrical journeyman installation and jobsite safety.

• Six or more years of experience as a commercial electrical journeyman with a minimum of two years of foreman experience, preferably from retail construction projects.
• Above average troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Valid driver license with the ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test and a motor vehicle background check.
• Strong English literacy skills are required to effectively communicate with management via email and phone.
• Must be available to work nights or travel as needed.
