Reporting to IT Department Leadership, the Developer II – Application Development position is responsible for the development, modification, and implementation of Inland Empire Health Plan’s internal/external applications.

- At least three (3) years of experience developing multi-tiered, efficient, highly responsive web applications
- Candidates must possess solid work experience in client side through middle-tier/back-end web development
- Healthcare experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution required
- Strong knowledge and understanding of client‑side implementations and frameworks such as AngularJS
- Software development languages C# and Java with an acute emphasis toward web service development (WCF, Web API)
- Web UI development (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML)
- Development architecture (MVVM and MVC)
- Database design and development (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
- Configuring hosting environments for web applications (IIS)
- Acute analysis, observation, and good communication skills
- Strong skills in the server-side development stack
- Ability to work well in a team is essential
