• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car and then to the door of the customer.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.

• Orientation and training provided on the job.

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers.
• Ability to process orders both over the phone and in person.

• Accurate and quick arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and making correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills: reading maps, locating addresses within the delivery area, and navigating adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings and private homes while carrying product.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F in the cooler to 90 °F or higher in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, and hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F or higher.
• Potential exposure to sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Need to drive deliveries within a designated area, often navigating stairs, ladders, and uneven terrain.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, stacking onto shelves up to 72 inches high, and moving large items by hand or hand truck.
