Job DescriptionAssist the head of exhibitions for the programming and implementation of exhibitions. Ensure mediation between the public and the exhibitions presented by the exhibition sector. Assist in the programming of cultural actions, reception, and activities of cultural stakeholders (residents, artists, professors of cultural centers, service providers, etc.). Participate in administrative and financial follow-up. Plan the reception of groups (EAC, disabled publics, seniors, after-school programs, etc.)
and ensure an adapted visit/workshop. Participate in the vernissages, montages, and demontages of exhibitions in connection with the artists. Welcome the different publics and adapt your communication. Assist the head on the reception and processing of artists' files, on the choice of works, on the conception of scenographies and management tools (listing of works for juries, artist lists, schedules...), and on communication, respond to artists' requests.
Design and implement projects and mediation devices by typology of publics to prepare, accompany, and extend the visit (guided tours, workshops, meetings with artists, mediation outside the walls, etc.) for all publics in connection with the exhibiting artists or professional stakeholders. Coordinate actions in connection with the PEAC (DAC/Education), with the Children, Social (seniors/disabled publics), Youth, Green Spaces, and other DAC sectors.
Coordinate the interventions of external stakeholders in connection with the exhibitions and participate in the creation of communication materials. Participate in the administrative management of the sector. Occasional reception of the public in the absence of the reception agent or reinforcement on the event.
• BAC + 3 (type cultural mediation, cultural project management, art history, cultural management or cultural engineering)
• Experience in the preparation and montage of exhibitions
• Knowledge of the publics
• Knowledge of artistic networks and especially contemporary art
• Project management
• Knowledge of the administrative, legal, and accounting environment of the sector and of the collectivity
• Experience in mediation in the artistic sector with different publics
• Ability to conduct simultaneous projects with different time frames
