Supervises cleaning personnel and inspects hotel guestrooms, Bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies by performing the following duties.

• Assigns work to cleaning personnel and trains personnel in housekeeping duties.
• Posts room occupancy records.
• Adjust guests complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
• Writes requisitions regarding housekeeping service, or equipment.
• Reports needed for room redecoration to housekeepers.
• Examines carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
• Checks and counts linens and supplies.
• Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
• Attend training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures.

Responsible for coordination of team members, and evaluation of this unit. Responsibilities training employees; addressing and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or G.E.D. minimum 2-3 years hotel housekeeping experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout theoffice area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment. Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will elevate when located in the casino environment.

Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
