Job Objective:
Responsible for overseeing PACS Administrators, Clinical Analysts and related staff supporting Enterprise Imaging (PACS/CPACS), Epic Radiant and Cupid and ancillary clinical applications. Directs application support, project management, system implementation, optimization and ongoing operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements and clinical workflow needs.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health, Science, Business or an additional four (4) years of applicable experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
Master’s degree
Licensure/Certification:
Required:
Epic certification, Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) certification or an industry-recognized systems administration certification (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, CompTIA)
Preferred:
Relevant and secondary Information Technology certification(s)
Experience:
Required:
Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology or nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in information technology without a bachelor’s degree
Preferred:
Supervisory or management experience; experience supporting enterprise healthcare applications and imaging systems in an acute care, ambulatory or integrated healthcare environment

Supervises: Clinical Applications Analysts and PACS Administrators

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, clinicians, operational leaders, vendors and Information Systems staff, Ability to lead by example, demonstrating integrity, transparency, and accountability in decision-making and actions, Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment, Ability to supervise, mentor, evaluate and develop team members while fostering collaboration and accountability, Ability to teach, train, mentor and develop clinical and technical staff, Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, Knowledge of application interfaces, relational databases, reporting tools and system integration concepts, Knowledge of Enterprise Imaging platforms, including Radiology PACS, Cardiology PACS (CPACS), vendor neutral archives (VNA), image exchange and related imaging technologies, Knowledge of Epic clinical applications, including Radiant, Cupid and other clinical application modules, Knowledge of Windows-based systems, basic networking concepts, system administration principles and application infrastructure, Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, web-based technologies, email systems and collaboration tools, Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex application, workflow, integration and system issues, Strong facilitation, project management, organizational, change management and team-building skills, Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and technologies, including DICOM, HL7 and FHIR
