About the Position

Travel Nurse Source is working with LLC to find a qualified Pain Management RN in Rancho Mirage, CA 92270!

Hours of operation:
Monday – Friday; opens at 0545 until finish last case; usually at 17:00; flexes with surgeon
Patient Population:
- Adult interventional pain management procedures / 18 years and older
- Hours of operation: M-F 07:30 - 17:00
Average Daily Census: 40
Ratio is 1:3
Float required according to skill level; possibly to the 2 locations (Rancho Mirage & Palm Springs)
No Weekends, No call, No holidays
Unit Details:
- Procedural Unit with 10 bed pre/post, 2 procedure rooms, interventional pain management. 2/3 of cases are local, the rest are anesthesia. ACLS /BLS required, prefer pain management, PACU and/or OR nurse experience.
- 45 procedures/day; very busy. More of a procedures area (therefore the pain management/OR/PACU experience)
- Less of a typical outpatient clinic area
EPIC Charting
Required Certs:
- ACLS, BLS
2 years minimum experience
No first-time travelers
Scrubs not provided - plain black scrubs with no emblems
