Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position available. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience with MUGA scans and pharmacological stress studies (Lexiscan) is required. Candidates must have experience with exercise and pharmacological (Lexiscan) stress studies. Strong ability in charting is necessary, and experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
Demonstrated experience with drawing venous blood is essential. Familiarity with storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials is required. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and available to float within their skill set. The daily census is approximately 20-22 studies. The unit has 3 rooms and 3 beds for patient care. Working knowledge of patient diagnoses such as CHF, CAD, diabetes, and sick sinus syndrome is advantageous.
This role involves interdisciplinary support from pharmacy and unit staff. Travelers are expected to work every other holiday, with preferences for additional holiday coverage. RTO should not exceed 7 days and must be submitted in advance. Candidates must have 2 references available, but only one is required for submission. No local travelers are allowed; the permanent address must be over 50 miles from the facility.
