Responsible for coordinating and tracking quality events within the assigned units/departments, abstracts clinical cases and provides appropriate follow-up with clinicians, leadership and physicians. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to promote quality patient care and safety, improved performance, resolve issues, improve quality outcomes and patient experience. Provides education to staff based on data from quality metrics.
EducationRequired:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing
Required:
California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Additional requirements based on assigned department as follows:
- 7010 Emergency Room:
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from AHA within 30 days of hire - 8043 Urgent Care Sunrise: BLS from AHA
- 7010 Emergency Room:
Required:
Three (3) years of RN experience, including at least one (1) year of experience in area of specialty, clinical education or performance/quality improvement setting
Preferred:
Experience working with databases and report writing
Reports To:
Clinical Manager, Clinical Director, S.V.P./Medical Affairs, Chief Medical Officer
Supervises: N/A

Neonate/Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
Blood Borne Pathogens:
High Potential in 7010 Emergency Room, 8043 Urgent Care Sunrise;
Minimal/ No Potential in 8714 Hospitalists Program
