Assists Clinical Directors and Clinical Managers in ensuring staff onboarding, initial & ongoing competency management, skills assessment & development, and career-long opportunities for professional growth. Assists in accreditation and regulatory educational requirements and documentation.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s in Nursing

Licensure/Certification :

Required:

California Registered Nurse (RN) License;
American Heart Association BLS;
Additional certifications required as outlined based on assigned department: 6400 2N LDRP
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA;
Neonatal Resuscitation Advanced Provider (NRP) certification from AHA and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP);
Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Fetal Monitoring RNC 6530 Neonatal ICU Level II
- Neonatal Resuscitation Advanced Provider (NRP) certification from AHA and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP);
Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support (STABLE) course completion 7420 Surgery Main
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA within 90 days of hire;
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification 7427 Perianesthesia - Main Surgery
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA within 90 days of hire;
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from AHA;
Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification 7431 EDOSC Surgery
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA within 90 days of hire;
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification 9655 Nursing Education
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA within 90 days of hire Preferred:

Required:

Three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute hospital or ambulatory care clinical setting Preferred:
Clinical education and professional development experience; experience as a clinical leader/ charge nurse or preceptor

  • 3.Fulfills the Nursing Professional Development Practitioner role functions and essential responsibilities as defined and outlined in the Nursing Professional Development Scope & Standards of Practice, including but not limited to:
