In relation to contributing to SJVC’s mission and goals, under the direct supervision of the Enrollment Services Director a Linear Program Admissions Advisor must be able to sell prospective students on themselves and the benefits of an education by presenting them a brighter, more promising future.

The starting pay range for this position is $24.25 - $28.13 hourly.

• Meet start goals for linear start programs
• Responds to all incoming inquiries for assigned linear programs
• Schedules appointments with prospective students
• Makes program presentations to prospective students
• Gives prospective students a tour of the college
• Schedules placement exams and discusses impact of scores with applicants
• Schedule prospective students for Program Director interviews
• Refers applicants to financial services
• Completes enrollment package
• Follows up by telephone and correspondence for open houses, orientation, start date, uniform and supplies
• Coordinate and attend all linear program open houses
• Attend all Advisory Board meetings
• Develop leads to supplement general marketing
• Performs other duties as assigned

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
