Security Officer - Hospital Screening

Allied Universal - Up to $21.00/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.;
Screen patients, visitors, vendors, and staff for authorized entry by following established access control processes, verifying credentials, and/or confirming visit purpose as required by site policy.;
Monitor screening checkpoints and nearby areas for unusual activity and/or prohibited items, helping to deter unauthorized access and promptly reporting concerns per post orders.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when appropriate and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services.;
Document screening activity and incidents using required logs and reporting systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers to support continuity of operations.
