Our Staff Values- Jesus:
Spending time with Jesus is the most important thing we can do while employed in ministry. - Excellence:
We take ownership of our work — honoring Jesus with our best, representing His Church well, and stewarding the resources entrusted to us faithfully. - Fun:
We are a community that knows how to create, have, and share fun experiences. - Risk:
Risk pushes us out of our comfort zone into a place where Jesus can show off. - You:
You are a whole person, not just a staff member.
- A mature and thriving relationship with Jesus that includes a regular practice of spiritual disciplines
- Humility
- Strong relationship skills
- A person of integrity and character
- An understanding that ministry is too big for staff to carry – developing and entrusting volunteers is an essential piece of each staff position
If this sounds like you, we think you’ll love this position!
- You genuinely love students — not just their potential, but the season they’re in. You see middle school awkwardness and high school intensity as sacred ground for discipleship.
- You don’t treat students as “future Christians.” You believe God is moving in their lives right now, and you expect them to know His voice and respond.
- You are passionate about building spiritually resilient students — young women and men who can withstand cultural pressure, wrestle honestly with doubt, and remain rooted in Jesus for the long haul.
- You are a true pastor at heart — relational, present, prayerful, and willing to walk with students and families through both breakthrough and crisis.
- You are a clear, compelling communicator of Scripture who teaches with theological depth and practical clarity.
- You build leaders. You see volunteer adults not as helpers, but as shepherds — and you intentionally raise them up to disciple students well.
- You are emotionally healthy, grounded, and spiritually anchored.
- You are organized and capable of carrying significant administrative responsibility with excellence.
- Lead and oversee Middle School and High School ministries with clarity, conviction, and alignment to Oakhouse’s mission

- Identify, disciple, and send student leaders
- Regularly teach and communicate Scripture in weekly gatherings and special events with clarity, theological depth, and practical application
