You will welcome customers, help them find and select products, load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met. Your daily activities may include assisting with locating items, restocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, cross‑training in other areas, and preparing merchandise such as tinting paint or cutting wood.

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise.
• Restock merchandise and maintain organized displays.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Cross‑train in other store departments.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut pipe, bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 6 months of computer experience (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• Minimum 6 months of experience with retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and perform other job‑related activities.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or 25+ pounds with accommodations.

• Retail or customer‑service experience of at least 6 months.
• Bi‑lingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to one of our departments (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials).

This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel for meetings, training or supporting neighboring stores may be necessary.

Customers may experience varying indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme heat or cold, wet and humid conditions, or windy drafts. Noise can be constant or intermittent. Lifting guidelines require single lifts limited to 75 pounds; team lifts and powered equipment may be used when needed.

Pay Range: $17.00 – $17.70 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training and experience.
