• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with Maryland state safety standards.
• Identify and document any mechanical or safety issues, providing clear reports.
• Perform necessary repairs or coordinate with service technicians to address identified issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs performed.
• Stay updated on Maryland state inspection regulations and standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding inspection findings and recommended service.

• Valid Maryland State Inspector certification.
• Proven experience in vehicle inspection and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Duties are performed on the dealership premises, both indoors and outdoors and on customer test drives. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit.

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
