Summary
Provides hospital-level leadership and operational oversight to the Nursing Professional Development Practitioner Team, ensuring high performance and excellence in educational programs across Life Bridge Health. The supervisor manages, develops, and evaluates team members; coordinates daily and long-term priorities; and serves as an NPD Specialist who designs, implements, and evaluates evidence-based education aligned to ANA NPD Scope and Standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
The NPD Supervisor supports hospital-wide and organizational education initiatives, functioning as a learning facilitator, mentor, advisor, and partner in advancing quality improvement, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.
- 4-5 years
- 3-5 years in nursing education required and 1-2 years in nursing leadership preferred
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
- Basic Life Support
- APRN-Clinical Nurse Specialist License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
