June 22, 2026 - Duration: 14 weeks (minimum 3 months)
- Shift: Day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Coverage:
Weekend availability appreciated but not required - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,750–$1,880/week
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
- Valid Maryland dietitian license or Compact state license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Dietitian in a hospital, acute care, or similar clinical setting
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations and inpatient nutrition care
- Proficiency in Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE), therapeutic diet orders, and clinical documentation
- Experience with enteral nutrition and TPN management (TPN no-writing required)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Ability to float to different units within the hospital as needed
- References required; valid professional credentials and clear background checks
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, interventions, and reassessments for adult and geriatric inpatients
- Manage a caseload of ~10–12 nutrition interventions per day as an inpatient dietitian
- Perform NFPEs, identify malnutrition, and develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams during rounds
- Provide expertise in calorie counts, food–drug interactions, oral rehydration, enteral feeding protocols, and TPN monitoring
- Document all patient interactions and nutrition interventions accurately in the electronic medical record
- Float to different hospital units as needed, within scope of practice
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical nutrition best practices
- Work with a supportive team of inpatient dietitians in a collaborative hospital environment
- Gain hands‑on clinical experience in adult and geriatric nutrition, enteral/TPN, and NFPE
- Serve patients in the Randallstown/Baltimore area – convenient access to parks, shopping, and city amenities
