Assistant Director of Nursing Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Chapel Hill Nursing Center in Randallstown, Maryland. As a member of our leadership team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility and ensure our residents receive exceptional care and services. Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, implementing, and evaluating the overall direction and goals of the nursing department
- Management and oversight of the Infection Prevention program
- Manage and supervise a team of professional nurses, nursing assistants, and other support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare providers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
- Monitor and improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and safety through data-driven decision-making and quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain effective policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to patient care
- Associate's degree in Nursing or a related field
- At least 1 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with a focus on nursing administration or leadership
- Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
