Job Overview
Join a growing healthcare system at Life Bridge Health’s Northwest Hospital as an Onsite Virtual Registered Nurse (OVRN). As a member of the patient care team, you will provide safe and age‑appropriate supportive patient care in a virtual setting. The OVRN will serve as a vital resource for bedside staff, patients, and their families.
The OVRN works in partnership with direct care nursing staff and other members of the patient care team. Focus areas include new admissions, clinical assessments, care plans, patient education, discharge planning, and teaching. The role requires a minimum of two years of bedside nursing experience in the adult inpatient setting.
Responsibilities- Provide, conduct, and document initial and ongoing clinical assessments suitable for a virtual setting, including obtaining patient history and objective and subjective data.
- Provide and document patient education based on established care plans.
- 1–3 years of experience, with a minimum of two years of bedside nursing experience in the adult inpatient setting.
- Nursing degree.
- Registered Nurse license – Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain a Maryland license.
- Preferred: AHA Basic Life Support Certification.
