Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Randallstown, MD

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with patient ratios of 1:4–6
• Deliver care within a Primary Stroke Center and support STEMI response protocols
• Provide nursing care in dedicated Behavioral Health locked units within the ED, maintaining a 1:6 ratio with support from ED staff and security teams
• Utilize rapid evaluation units to address urgent care and critical care needs, including rapid medical screenings
• Float within the hospital as needed, remaining within scope of practice

• Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must be available to complete non-billable virtual orientation modules on the first day of contract

• Experience in stroke care or STEMI response protocols
• Background in Behavioral Health emergency care

• Work within a recognized Primary Stroke Center featuring a Gold Plus designation from the American Heart Association
