Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend and holiday required.
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department while demonstrating proficiency in handling a diverse array of critical cases.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients in the emergency department.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Manage and monitor patients with complex medical conditions.
- Provide care for stroke patients as part of a Primary Stroke Center.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
- Ensure compliance with emergency protocols and standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 3 years of recent emergency room nursing experience required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Valid Maryland RN license or Compact RN license.
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
