Meat / Produce associates are focused on keeping the Fresh area fully stocked. They also rotate product and maintain proper food safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise out to the sales floor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day.

• Work in the deli, bakery, and dry grocery departments to provide excellent customer service.
• Keep the Fresh area fully stocked and rotate product, maintaining proper food safety standards.
• Move incoming merchandise from storage to the sales floor and set up displays.
• Clean and sanitize shelves and department, check and maintain temperature control, verify product dates, and dispose of inferior quality food.
• Help customers find the products they are looking for.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat foods.
• Assist customers with cake orders, deli orders, or finding the right produce.
• Keep the area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
