Schedule – Full Time Day Shift (6:00 am–2:30 pm) Who We Are

About the RolePerforms carpentry responsibilities throughout the hospital and off‑site locations, including installation, construction, and repairs related to renovation and new installation projects. Mon‑Fri 6 am–2:30 pm; no weekends or on‑call.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Repair and install assemblies, casework, shelving, partitions, etc.
- Varnish, paint, stain or otherwise finish carpentry tasks.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing, minor floor repairs, and installation of suspended ceiling systems as directed.
- Install hardware such as locks, closures, etc.
- Prepare openings, layout functions, and install all types of doors and related hardware.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, privacy, and demonstrate understanding of patient rights.
- Perform fire/disaster duties as specified in policy and procedure manual.
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety requirements and report incidents.
- Inspect facilities during duties and identify issues to the appropriate person.
- Communicate with supervisor and office staff, identifying problems, priorities, and needs.
- Read design drawings and blueprints.
- Assist other trades such as plumbers and other carpenters as needed.
- Clean equipment, tools, and related areas.
- Move furniture and supplies from one location to another.
- Education: HS Diploma/GED preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience; must be hard‑working, punctual, and honest.
- Licensure: Full MD driver’s license with a good driving record.
