Commercial Driver – Part Time

Auto Zone’s Delivery Drivers play a key role in delivering high‑quality automotive parts and services directly to our commercial customers. They operate company vehicles, manage loading and unloading, and uphold the company’s reputation for reliable, safe, and professional service.

• Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver outstanding service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear automotive advice and offering on‑site installation when needed.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure seamless operations and strong customer relationships.
• Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow all company policies.
• Delivery Operations – Safely drive company‑provided vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries of parts to commercial customers and loading/unloading according to route schedules.
• Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or external vendors as required.
• Safety Compliance – Adhere to personal protective equipment guidelines and fleet safety policies to ensure a safe driving and working environment.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely in accordance with company procedures.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Keep current on promotions and products via Auto Zone systems; maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with Auto Zone driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
