Staff Accountant

On Deck Sports is looking for a motivated full-time Accounting Staff member to join our growing South Shore team. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative accounting group that supports three dynamic entities in the sporting goods industry and helps keep our financial operations running smoothly.

• Play an active role in month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals.
• Manage intercompany transaction entries and help ensure shared costs are allocated accurately.
• Support weekly and biweekly payroll processing for approximately 200 employees across all three entities.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations for each entity.
• Own customer billing and collections for the two smaller entities.
• Contribute to building scalable accounting processes that support continued company growth.

• 1–2 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
• A solid foundation in accounting principles, including GAAP.
• Confidence working in Excel, including large data sets and transaction analysis; experience with VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables is a plus.
• Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment.
