Procurement Manager
Manage each part of the supply chain to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services while identifying possible obstacles that may affect productivity
Duties and responsibilities- Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business
- Participate and support all manufacturing to influence sourcing to meet project timelines.
- Uploading and maintaining BOM(s) and P&M’s from Engineering into our ERP system
- Process requisitions and place orders for all departments
- Comply with all site SOPs and documented processes
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
- Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
- Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production
- Conducting cost analysis and setting benchmarks for improvement
- Maintain risk management (inventory control) to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages
- Other duties may be assigned
- 3-5 years of experience within Supply chain management, commodity management, procurement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP (Quick Books, Click Up, etc);
Advanced Microsoft Office abilities - Experience managing vendors; extreme customer-focus, both internal & external, and a collaborative team player
- Utilize professional networks and other resources to identify capable suppliers for desired commodities
- Ability to consolidate and analyze data, draw conclusions, and clearly communicate recommended solutions is required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Adaptable and seasoned cross functional communicator, with sharp critical thinking skills
- Skilled Influencer, possessing strong diplomacy, teamwork, & interpersonal skills and savvy.
- Ability to assess priorities, demonstrate flexibility and understand sense of urgency
- Strong data analysis and/or process mapping skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
Mon – Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Salary $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year tbd upon experience
